Huggies Prizes!

This is a back dated post.

Four days after Daniel's birthday, I received a call from Nationwide asking for my exact house location. The delivery guy told me there were three boxes of parcels for me. Well, I didn't order or buy anything online, so I was wondering who was the sender.

Late afternoon, a big Nationwide lorry parked in front of my house. Guess what, the parcels were from Huggies! And there's a letter for me too. Hahaha! I've won the consolation prize in the Si Manja Huggies Baby Contest Rank & Win. I can't believe it! I joined the contest just for fun (I send 10 entries - 10 polybags one week before the closing date).

What're the prizes? Huggies Ultra L54s x 3, Huggies Pull-Ups Pants L12s x 12. Not bad huh?

Daniel, this is your birthday gifts from Huggies. At least mommy can save from buying your diapers. Hehehe......

1st Birthday Celebration

Time really flies. I remember Daniel was born only a breath ago. Now he has turning ONE. We celebrated his first birthday at my parents' place. It's just a simple celebration and we have invited the same guests that attended his fullmoon party.

The party went on very well and Daniel really behaved on that day. It's seems that he knew he'll be the center of attention that night. I'll let's the pictures tell the story.

Daniel really had a birthday bash that night. He was too excited and happy as well. We only managed to get him to sleep at 11.30pm.

Who is this guy?? You MUST get to know him. He is my uncle George a.k.a Joj. He 's the one that took all these memorable photos. He is a professional wedding photographer. You sure will amaze when you see his work. You can see more of his works at here.

Daniel With Techno Song

Techno Song(s)??? What will pop up in your mind when you heard Techno Song(s)??? Yes...clubbing. But this time it is not about going to pub and dancing all night. Remember in my previous post, I did mention about Daniel "new passion" in Techno Song(s). Now I want to share this video clip with you all.

My Baby Is 11 Months Old

I apologize for my absent for these past few weeks. Due to my work commitment, I’m unable to update my blog like previously. But of course I’ll continue to blog when I’m free.

How time really flies. My Daniel is 11 months old now. Here are some updates about his progress.

Weight

I have lost track about his current weight. Last weight was 10.7kg took on January.

Height

Didn’t measure yet. I guess he is getting taller now.

Gross Motor

Cruising along furniture. Crawling. And start to climb.

New Foods

Egg Yolk, Eggplant, Cauliflower, Sawi, Bread, Sweet Potato

New Words

Dada or Didi for Daddy.

Mama for Mommy.

Ish for Fish.

Goa for Goal.

Ca for Car.

He babbled the word “Goa” (Goal) more than dada or mama. *sigh*.

I guess he inherits most of my husband’s hobbies.

Football

Daniel loves to watch football. Each time you switch on to ESPN, he will said “Goa” Goa…

Techno Songs

Can you believe an 11 months old child loves techno songs rather than children songs??? Daniel is one of them (or maybe the only one in the world??? ). He only loves few children songs – Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, London Bridge In Falling Down, Old Mc Donald Had A Farm, and Are You Sleeping.

How about his sleeping song??? Techno as well. We discovered about this during Chinese New Year celebration when we were back in kampong. He didn’t want to sleep when we sang twinkle twinkle little star (normally he’ll sleep after he watched the video clip)..then my hubby tried this song – L’Amour Toujour by Gigi D’Agostino. Within one minute he fell into deep sleep…ooohhh…how easy!!! From that onward, L’Amour Toujour officially becomes his sleeping song…even his grandma (my mother) learned how to sing the rhythm…hahahaa…so funny…granny sings techno….ooppppsss…don’t tell my mom…

Other Interesting Milestones

Loves to play hide & seek.

3rd & 4th Teeth…

Ouch…Ouch...!!!

Bite here bite there…

Then chewing fingers….chewing toes or anything that he can chew…why…why?

Because Daniel’s 3^rd and 4^th teeth have erupted.

Poor son…I know he is not feeling comfortable with his itchy gums…before the teeth erupted, he’ll wake up two or three times at night but doesn’t want to drink. Luckily he went back to sleep after few minutes. I guess this is the cycle we may experience for the next two or three years.

Mommies, how do you clean your child’s teeth? Using soft cloth or baby tooth brush? Mind to share?
